About DADX Dance Acacdemy

DADX Dance Academy is the long time goal and work of its director, Diego Arvelo. His love and belief in the positive nature of this art form lead him to become a dance instructor when he first came to Canada in 1989. The acronym D.A.D.X. stands for - Dance, Art, Dedication and Expression - and is a true demonstration of the philosophy of Mr. Arvelo toward the art of dance. His wish is to teach youth - dance, art, dedication and expression - in a positive way that allows them to carry the valuable lessons learned forward through their lives.

At DADX Dance Academy, dance is not only a medium for teaching the many disciplines of the art form itself but also a way that children can learn to share culture and ideas from many different viewpoints. Our approach, is to emphasize technical training and exam work, as well as performance opportunities, providing students with a more rounded approach to dance -- and indeed to life itself.

The Academy will provide its dancer not only with strong dance training but also with the means to achieve physical fitness and well being, self-assurance in all aspects of life, a positive attitude to carry them into adulthood, an appreciation of culture, and a true love of dance.
